Historic First Conference of Chabad Emissaries in Baltic States

Recently, a historic milestone was reached in Chabad’s activities across the Baltic region as the first-ever conference of Chabad Shluchim (emissaries) was held for all Chabad representatives serving in Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia. The landmark gathering took place at the Chabad House in Riga, under the leadership of Rabbi Mordechai Glazman, Chief Chabad Emissary to Latvia, with participation from all Chabad families serving in the region.

The Kinus Hashluchim conference opened with a warm, unifying atmosphere and featured specialized programming for all participants – men, women, and children. The men’s program included in-depth discussions and practical workshops, while women participated in empowering and inspiring sessions. Special educational and experiential activities were organized for the children.

The event, organized by Riga-based emissary Rabbi Shneur Kot and his wife Ruchi, focused on strengthening cooperation and joint initiatives among the Chabad representatives across the Baltic states. Currently, approximately 10 Chabad families serve these communities, dedicating themselves to spreading Torah knowledge and strengthening Jewish life throughout the region.
