A Night to Remember: Rabbi Michiel Seligaon’s Farbrengen
The yeshiva was honored with a visit from Rabbi Michoel Seligson to celebrate 19 Kislev. Rabbi Seligaon led an inspiring farbrengen that lasted into the early morning hours, leaving students and participants spiritually uplifted and deeply moved.
Miami Torah Experience: An amazing winter program of growth and adventure
Shortly after, the yeshiva hosted the acclaimed Miami Torah Experience winter program. This unique initiative offered college-aged students an opportunity to immerse themselves in yeshiva learning while enjoying the beauty and excitement of South Florida.
Participants balanced Torah study with thrilling recreational outings, including Everglades speed boating to view alligators, beach volleyball, kayaking, and more.

- Greg Mermeli, a dedicated Chabad supporter, shared a personal story about how the Rebbe received a Sefer Yalkut Yisroel written by Mermeli’s great-grandfather, R’ Yisroel Misharer Singer, and in return gifted Greg 100 Swiss Francs in honor of Greg’s Bar Mitzvah, a touching memory from a family trip to Switzerland shortly after he turned 13.

The yeshiva also welcomed Rabbi Yossi Lerman, a dynamic shliach to the state of Georgia, who inspired students with his words of encouragement and guidance during a powerful farbrengen .

Yeshiva Torah Ohr offers a full-time program designed for beginners seeking to grow in their Judaism in a warm, nurturing environment with personalized attention. This winter, the yeshiva celebrated the opening of its state-of-the-art dormitory, made possible by a generous grant from the Margareten family of New York.
