Breaking the Silence: The Torah Way to Talk to Teens

Last week, parents and friends of Tomchei Tmimim Ocean Parkway gathered in Crown Heights for the first of a four-part parent lecture series. The event aimed to equip parents with Torah-based guidance for raising teens. Many parents brought along a friend to build a sense of community. 

The inaugural lecture, delivered by the renowned Dr. Shloime Zimmerman, author of From Boys to MEN, focused on how to talk to growing boys/teens about maturing through the Torah lens. Dr. Zimmerman shared practical tools and insights to help parents address this sensitive topic. 

The yeshiva sent out a survey afterward to gather feedback from the parents, and based on the responses, plans are already underway for the next lecture in this impactful series.
