Full Day Halacha Summit To Take Place by the Kinnus Hashluchim
Merkos 302’s Kollel L’Rabbonei Chabad is once again hosting a full-day Seminar of in-depth Halachic workshops on Thursday, 27 Cheshvan, to provide shluchim with essential knowledge for addressing some of today’s most sensitive and pressing Halachic issues.
The symposium will feature an impressive lineup of veteran Shluchim and Rabbonim, including Rabbi Binyomin Weiss, Av Beis Din of the Montreal Rabbinical Council, who will headline the first two sessions, as well as Rabbi Gedalia Oberlander of Kingson, PA, and Rabbi Menachem Kahn of Brooklyn, New York.
The Practical Rabbinics – Halacha Summit’s four sessions will run from 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Beis Levi Yitzchak in Crown Heights and address several complex questions shluchim inevitably encounter, from the sensitive issues of Abortion and Organ donation to learning about the halachos of Neshek and Mezuzah, as we mark 50 years since these mivtzoim began.
Over one hundred eighty Shluchim, Mechanchim, and community leaders learn every day in the Kollel L’Rabbonei Chabad, highlighting a growing demand for advanced halachic know-how. The Kinus Seminar will be another opportunity for Shluchim to broaden their halachic expertise.
“The Shluchim are the go-to place for questions of Jewish Observance and Halacha in their communities,” says Rabbi Mendy Kotlarsky, Director of Merkos 302. “It is exciting to provide these opportunities to help shluchim as they guide their communities through these advanced areas of Halacha.”
