When we say something about a person who passed away it is very important to write the truth. What was the kiddush hashem?
The Truth
The Rebbe’s position was that ANY Jew (regardless of his level of Torah observance) killed simply because he was Jewish, is considered to have died Al Kiddush Hashem. This was certainly true of R’ Tzvi HaKohen Kogan, HY”D, who, choosing to be a shliach in a Moslem land (despite the danger), spent his days & nights cheerfully helping other Jews, physically and spiritually.
