United Lubavitcher Yeshiva’s annual campaign is live. This fundraiser isn’t just about the yeshiva; it’s about the Limmud HaTorah that travels thousands of miles to protect others.
At the corner of Crown St. and Albany Ave, hundreds of children arrive from different directions. It’s 8:30 am on a Monday morning, and the תלמידים are on their way to yeshiva.
Thousands of miles away, soldiers in Eretz Yisroel are also in uniform. They fight a dangerous battle, protecting and sacrificing for Klal Yisroel.
People around the world are asking, “What can we do for Eretz Yisroel?”
The Rebbe gave us clear directions for times of trouble: “מפי עוללים ויונקים יסדת עוז” We can derive strength from the Torah learning of our children. In Tomchei Temimim every Tomim is being instilled with a strong pride for Torah, Chassidus and love for their fellow Yiddin. Hundreds of תלמידים are spending their days learning and davening with chayus.
The Rebbe called the Temimim “סולדאטען”- Soldiers, and taught that the learning of our תלמידים has a direct impact on the safety and protection of Eretz Yisroel. The Limud Hatorah that fills the classrooms in ULY is the ultimate spiritual weapon for our soldiers.
