by CrownHeights.info
It’s a yearly tradition, and Erev Rosh Hashana leading up to 5785 was no different. A beautiful work of art depicting a shofar was completed by Chabad artist Yitzchak Moully in preparation for the new year.
“It’s hours before Rosh Hashannah, and as is my yearly tradition, I create a Shofar painting, attempting to convey G-D’s blessings for the new year, and boy do we need Blessings,” Moully wrote. “Shofar 5785 depicts an IDF soldier blowing the shofar, with his heart open begging and praying from the depth of his soul.”
Each year, after Chatzos on the day of Rosh Hashana, Moully pours his heart and soul into a Shofar painting, attempting to visualize the new energy of the upcoming year.
Moully’s artwork can now available online at Moullyart.com, where his completed painting for 5785 is available for purchase as an acrylic on Canvas 48×48 inches.
