With preparations beginning for the Kinus Hashluchim 5785, the Kinus Vaad has unveiled the theme for this year, the importance of the individual Mitzvah.

“During the Kinus Hashluchim in 5747, the Rebbe explained that collective redemption demands each individual’s role and input,” the Vaad wrote in an email to Shluchim. “We need to consider the impact of our personal contribution to this collective goal. The army of Shluchim succeeds specifically when each Shliach focuses on the individual Mitzvos performed by each person within his own community. Global transformation is an assembly of singular acts.”

Quoting the opening of Hayom Yom, the Vaad pointed out that this year marks yovel shanim since the Rebbe bean the Mivtzoim campaigns, entrusting the Chassidim to enhance Torah study, Mezuzah, Tzedakah, Bayis Malei Seforim, and Neshek through the medium of the Mitzvah Tanks.

“Our goal at this year’s Kinus is to spotlight the way in which our lone achievements feed the global change that will bring the Geulah, B’korov Mamosh,” the Vaad ended off.

The Kinus Hashluchim 5785 will take place in Crown Heights and run from the 27th – 30th of Cheshvan, 5785, November 27th – December 1st, 2024.
