The inauguration of the Shul at Pardess Chabad Farm in East Fishkill, NY was a double simcha this past Sunday with the completion and welcoming of a new Sefer Torah.
Over 200 community members and family joined the Simcha with the Sosover family completing a Sefer Torah in memory of their father, R’ Yisroel Yoel hakohen Sosover A’H.
The Sefer Torah, was welcomed at the Pardess Chabad Shul, which will be its permanent home.
The modern farmhouse-style shul stands out with its warm inviting feeling and unique handmade Aron Kodesh.
“I felt a lot of energy that day” said community member Jeff. The procession, led by the farm tractor and wagon gave the Torah celebration a special shtetl feel.
Marlena who has known the Shluchim Rabbi Zalman and Goldy Sandhaus since 2015 was overwhelmed with emotion “What a wonderful day of celebration and shared love and spirituality so moving and important.”
While speaking with Rabbi Sandhaus he told us “we are extremely thankful to all our supporters and grateful for the Rebbe’s Brochos in every step of our Shlichus”
