Chabad Shliach Named Chaplain For The Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office

Rabbi Mendy Goldberg, Shliach in Coram, NY along with his Rebbetzin Rachel, has been named as Chaplain for the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office.

Based in Coram, NY, Rabbi and Rebbetzin Goldberg are under the auspices of Lubavitch of the East End which covers the long eastern arm of Long Island.

Under the direction of Rabbi Leibel Baumgarten and his wife Goldie, Lubavitch of the East End founded in mid-1984, offers youth programs, adult education courses, community holiday awareness celebrations and hospital, nursing home and shut-in visitations. Lubavitch of the East End  is a “one-stop” address for the many needs of the broader Jewish community.

Under the auspices of Lubavitch of the East End there are now Five Chabad centers on the East End assuring Jewish in their respected areas. The Coram Chabad House is one of them.
