Six Weeks of Hiskashrus: Bochurim Prepare for Gimmel Tammuz with Vaad Talmidei Hatmimim Haolami

Thousands of Bochurim learning in Yeshivos worldwide have devoted six weeks to preparing for Gimmel Tammuz – 30 years, strengthening their Hiskashrus to the Rebbe through special programs from the Vaad Talmidei Hatmimim Haolami.

In addition to another successful year of ‘Mivtza Hanachos’ for Bochurim learning in Mesivta, where they tested and enhanced their skills in watching the Rebbe’s Farbrengens, and the incredible ‘Mivtza Nosi Hador’ for Bochurim learning in Zal, where they delved deeply into the topic of a Nossi, four ‘Shabbos Hachana’ programs took place in different Yeshivos in the weeks preceding Gimmel Tammuz.

The Bochurim left Shabbos with uplifted spirits, inspired in their Hachanos through a jam-packed schedule of Chassidishe Farbrengens joined by guest Mashpi’im, group learning sessions, large Seudos with members of Hanholla, and a special Melaveh Malka program featuring a newly produced film showcasing special moments with the Rebbe throughout the Nesius.

One such Shabbos occurred in Morristown, New Jersey, with over 500 Bochurim learning in New Haven, Nyack, Oholei Torah, Baltimore, and Morristown. Another was held in Detroit for the older Shiurim from Chicago, Detroit, and Toronto, while the younger grades gathered in Chicago. Another special Shabbos was arranged near the Ohel for the Bochurim of Shiur Daled Oholei Torah with their Mashpi’im.

In Israel, alongside the various programs arranged in Yeshivos over the two months preceding Gimmel Tammuz, over 1500 Bochurim gathered in Kfar Chabad to prepare for Gimmel Tammuz on the Shabbos prior. The Vaad Hatmimim is also facilitated accommodations for more than a thousand Bochurim traveling to New York, offering Farbrengens, Shiurim, and lodging arrangements.

After weeks of preparation and anticipation, a momentous event took place on Gimmel Tammuz for Bochurim learning in Mesivta. For the first time ever in honor of Gimmel Tammuz, the Bochurim gathered to learn and Farbreng together with special guest speakers and video presentations on the theme of Hiskashrus.

The Vaad Hatmimim is now preparing for the upcoming year with many innovative programs and events for Bochurim around the world, helping them strengthen their Hiskashrus to the Rebbe and their identity as Chassidim.
