New Edition of Har Habayis Anthology Released for the Three Weeks

A groundbreaking anthology on the sacred site of the Beis Hamikdash has been released, offering a renewed perspective during the Three Weeks. “Har Habayis: A Collection from Chazal and Commentaries on the Site of the Beis Hamikdash,” provides a comprehensive exploration of the Har Habayis through biblical and classical sources.

Compiled by Rabbi Mendel Raskin, Shliach in Cote St. Luc, Montreal, and produced by the Moshiach Office at Merkos 302, this comprehensive work delves into all aspects of the Har Habayis, the location of the Beis Hamikdash. Drawing from biblical and classical sources, it offers a deeper understanding of this sacred site and its ongoing significance.

“In 5736, the Rebbe launched a campaign to learn topics in Torah related to the Beis Hamikdash during the ‘Three Weeks’ between Shiva Asar Tammuz and Tisha Ba’av,” shares Rabbi Shloime Naparstek, director of the Moshiach Office at Merkos 302. “This initiative focuses on the rebuilding of the third Beis Hamikdash, offering a positive message during this traditionally somber period.”

Inspired by the Rebbe’s visionary campaign, Rabbi Raskin compiled the Har Habayis anthology in a beautifully designed booklet with line-by-line English translation, making it accessible to a wider audience. “By immersing ourselves in these fundamental topics,” Rabbi Raskin says, “we actively participate in the building of the third Beis Hamikdash itself.”
