Video: “Let’s Get Personal”; Rabbi Simon Jacobson in Open Conversation Podcast for Gimmel Tammuz

In honor of Gimmel Tammuz, The Alef Podcast, a project of Merkos 302’s Moshiach Office, features a new episode with Rabbi Simon Jacobson. The renowned educator and mentor delves into contemporary questions and ideas about Moshiach, presenting them to the world and the Gimmel Tammuz reality.

“I understand all the questions very well”, says Rabbi Simon Jacobson in the episode. “I myself am a skeptic by nature and question too. But if you are part of this mission, it doesn’t just mean you are part of it when all is good and smooth. It means you are all in, even in the toughest times.”

“In this conversation, listeners gain a deeper understanding of the Rebbe’s message about our generation being the last before Geulah and how that interplays with the reality that we are marking 30 years since Gimmel Tammuz,” explains Rabbi Levik Gourarie, Podcast Host and Director of The Alef.

The Alef provides weekly standalone study lessons. Each segment explores Moshiach-related topics with engaging design and insights, drawing from Torah-text and Chassidus.

The Alef Podcast is a supplemental bi-monthly conversation with one of the Jewish community’s greatest teachers, honing in on one segment of The Alef for extra insight and thought. The podcast featuring Rabbi Jacobson, The Last Generation, 30 Years Later, focuses on the tenth segment of The Alef, “The Last Stand”.

Coinciding with the release of the episode, to inspire action for Gimmel Tammuz, a grassroots campaign to introduce 1000 Jews to the Rebbe’s initiative to learn and educate about Moshiach has hundreds of shluchim, shluchos, and members of Anash undertaking to initiate a chavrusah on a segment of The Alef before Gimmel Tammuz.
