BDE: Rivka (Rita) Jacobs, 92, OBM

With great sadness we report the passing of Rivka Jacobs OBM, the matriarch of a large Lubavitch family. She passed away early morning on Tuesday, June 18th, 2024 – 12 Sivan 5784.

She was 92 years old.

She is survived by her children Dr. Elka Pinson (Crown Heights), Rabbi Fishel Jacobs (Kfar Chabad, Israel), Yisroel Jacobs (Burlington, VT) as well as grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral to leave from Shomrei Hadas on Wednesday at 11:30am, passing by 770 at approximately 12pm and headed to Montefiore Cemetery (Entrance near the Rebbes Ohel) for a 1pm burial.

Shiva will take place at Reb Baruch and Dr. Elka Pinson residence at 1398 Carroll Street, Brooklyn, NY 11213

There will be 2 Minyanim for two sons.

Shacharis 8am and 8:45am. Mincha at 8pm and 8:15pm, followed by Maariv

Shiva hours from 10am to 12pm and from 7pm to 9pm
