Riverdale Jewish Community Gathered On Lag B’Omer For Day of Unity

The Riverdale  Community came together this Lag B’Omer for a day of Jewish unity and pride with Chabad of Riverdale, who hosted the community event and concert with IDF reservist and musician Noam Buskila.

Over 1,200 people gathered throughout the event complete with BBQ, cotton candy, archery, hamster ball, rock climbing, pony rides, crafts and more. Joyous smiles were everywhere as there was an activity for everyone.

Under the auspices of Rabbi Levi Shemtov and Mrs. Sorah Shemtov the highlight of the event was Noam Buskila, an IDF reservist and musician who delighted the attendees with live music and dancing.

 The Unity Concert was co-sponsored by Ha-Makolet – Uri and Shoshana Alon, Corner Cafe – Kenny and Kochava Dubin, and Dr. Moshe Markel in memory of Yitzchok Gedalya ben Dr. Moshe Feldman A”H.
