The World’s First Lag Bomer Parade of 5784

Melbourne, Australia kicked off this Lag Bomer with an incredible parade and fair, attended by well over 5,000 Jews from many surrounding communities. A project of Chabad Youth (Tzach), and supported by tens of local Shuls, Chabad Houses, and community organizations, the wonderful day was a reflection of achdus and true joy in the spirit of Rashbi.

Joining the parade were thousands of children, marching with pride in their Jewish identity. Many of the floats at the parade were created by the children themselves, along with banners and signs celebrating Jewish life and resilience.

The well attended parade was followed by a fabulous fair with rides, music concerts, entertainment shows, and delicious food vendors. It was a true celebration of the Jewish spirit!
