Hundreds Embrace “The Alef” in First Week of Launch: A Powerful Moshiach Sharing Initiative Takes Root
Just one week after the inspiring Tut Altz Chof-Ches Nissan Farbrengen on the theme of “Time to Teach,” hundreds are already putting those words into action with The Alef. This innovative Moshiach education project, launched by The Moshiach Office at Merkos 302, is proving to be a powerful tool for spreading awareness and igniting discussions.
The Alef centers around the first letter of the Alef-Beis, symbolizing a small step with a big impact. Also intended, is the basic nature of the content which is appropriate to the uninitiated. With the release of the second segment this week, “Home for One,” the initiative has already resonated with hundreds of shluchim and Lubavitchers worldwide.
“It’s been amazing to see the energy around The Alef,” says Rabbi Eli Goodman. “At Chabad of The Beaches, we’ve been incorporating it into our weekly study group. It creates a springboard for lively discussions about Moshiach, with everyone contributing their perspectives.”
The feedback is overwhelmingly positive. “The Alef provides a short, clear and insightful teaching on Inyanei Geula u’Moshiach”. says Rabbi Levi New of the Montreal Torah Center. “ It helps bring ‘Geula Consciousness’ to our students in a manner relevant to their daily lives. Ultimately, this is our Shlichus – to bring Moshiach to each Jew, to each city, to each country, and the world as a whole”.
The momentum is building. With new content released weekly, and a user-friendly website (TheAlef.co) for ongoing support, The Alef is poised to make a significant impact. So why wait? Join the growing community and share The Alef in your Chabad House, with your friends and family, or even in your online classes.
“In the last Kinus Hashluchim when we merited to hear the Rebbe speak, the Rebbe intoned the shluchim to teach Moshiach concepts to prepare their communities for Moshiach,” shares Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky, Chairman of the Kinus and Vice-Chairman of Merkos L’inyonei Chinuch. “Our goal is to fulfill that mission.”
Inspired by the embrace from the public, organizers released a full-form interview with Rabbi Aryeh Weinstein (excerpted in the Mega Tut Altz farbrengen on 28 Nissan): an insightful and captivating dialogue on how to teach and present The Alef content, in particular the first two segments, “The Playwright of History” and “Home for One”.
