Website Launched To Ease Shluchim’s Pesach Workload

The list of tasks in the approach to Pesach seems endless: cleaning, purchasing Shmurah Matzah, outfits for the kids, etc. Adding a Chabad House to run lengthens that list exponentially. To aid Shluchim in juggling all these tasks at once, Chabad Mosdos launched a website to consolidate various Pesach resources into one easily accessible place.

The website features a wide range of useful tools for both Chabad House programming and the family. Developed by Merkos 302, the website is a treasure chest of programs. Yud Aleph Nissan Farbrengen prep, Divrei Torah for the synagogue, CTeen programs, customized Pesach games, Seder marketing tools, and the first-ever Seder Locator for young professionals, enabling campus and community shluchim to connect their alumni with the nearest seder exclusively catered to their demographic.

“With the influx of participation at Chabad Houses worldwide over the past months, more guests than ever are expected at Chabad Seders. We hope the resources available to Shluchim will go a long way to helping them navigate the festival with joy,” said Rabbi Mendy Kotlarsky, Executive Director of Merkos 302.

Each Chabad House is unique and programs can be adapted to the needs of an individual community. Chabad On Call, for example, has a dedicated portal on the website for Shluchim that addresses the needs of hospital patients and their families. CKids provides a wealth of resources for families, including a Pesach version of the Ticket To Ride game, Hebrew School lessons, and Ma Nishtana Karaoke.

The website includes:

  • PR, Marketing, and Social Media resources
  • 11 Nissan event
  • Chazak video library
  • Pesach kits
  • Tzivos Hashem rallies
  • Seder To Go kits
  • Pesach games
  • Printable seder companions
  • CKids resources, including an interactive Hagaddah
  • Lessons in Maamorim and Sichos
  • Seder talking points
  • Mechiras Chometz online

And much, much more!

Many Chabad organizations, such as Chabad.org, Derher Magazine, Sichos in English, and all the Departments at Merkos 302, including the Spanish and Hebrew desks, have joined in a beautiful collaborative effort to make this site a reality. Providing Shluchim with the best resources they can offer, all in a fresh, new, and efficient manner as an all-inclusive one-stop-shop.
