BDE: Mrs. Fruma Junik, 91, OBM
With great sadness we report the passing of Mrs. Fruma Junik OBM, the daughter Reb Avrohom Boruch Pevzner HY”D and a resident of Crown Heights. She passed away on Wednesday, the 2nd of Nissan, 5784.
She was 91 years old.
Mrs. Fruma Junik was the last surviving daughter of Reb Avrohom Boruch Pevzner HY”D the noted Mashpia and Choizer of the Rebbe Rashab, as well as the wife of the Meshemsh Bakodesh of the Rebbe, Rabbi Beryl Junik OBM.
She is survived by her children: R’ Yosef Yitzchok Junik (Crown Heights), Mrs. Nechama Itkin (Pittsburgh, PA), R’ Shamshon Junik (Crown Heights), R’ Meir Shlomo Junik (Crown Heights), Rabbi Menachem Junik (England) R’ Dovid Junik (Crown Heights) and Mrs. Chana Spielman (Crown Heights).
She was predeceased by her husband, Rabbi Berel Junik OBM, and her son Rabbi Avraham Boruch Junik OBM in 2017.
The Levaya will take place Thursday, the 3rd of Nissan. 12:30pm at the Chapel, approximately 1:30pm outside 770, and 2:30pm at the Beis Hachayim.
