New Shluchim To Center City, Philadelphia
Center City, Philadelphia will soon an addition to their Chabad Center as Rabbi Levi and Moussia Shaw prepare to move to the city.
“We are thrilled to be moving on Shlichus to Center City, Philadelphia,” the Shaws wrote. “Our mission is to contribute to the community’s growth and development, with a special emphasis on engaging young children and their families through Jewish education.”
The Shaws will be joining the vibrant community at B’nai Abraham Chabad together with Rabbi Yochonon and Leah Goldman, who have been leading the community over the past 24 years. Building on the foundation of Chabad’s presence in Philadelphia for over 60 years, the primary focus of the new Shluchim will be on creating opportunities for the next generation including Hebrew school, Shabbos and Yom Tov programs and community events to foster a sense of community and Jewish pride among the youth.
“Our goal is to connect to people, one by one, as we build relationships that will inspire a deeper commitment to Torah and Mitzvos as guided by the Rebbe’s teachings, which will prepare this corner of the world for the Geulah Shleima,” they said.
