Cincinnati Mayor and State Governor Sign Proclamations For Education Day

While 11 Adar Sheini is the day of Taanis Esther this year, it is also “shloshim Yom Lifnei Hachag – 30 days before 11 Nissan”. In preparation for this special day, Rabbi Gershon Avtzon – Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshivas Lubavitch Cincinnati – went to City Hall to have Mayor Aftab Puravel sign the proclamation which designates 11 Nissan as “Education and Sharing Day” in Cincinnati. In addition, he reached out to the office of Governor Mike Dewine, and he also signed the proclamation for the entire state. Both of these proclamations will be displayed in the lobby of the Yeshiva.
