Shabbos Tzuzamen Kicks Off: Join The Adventure!
After an inspirational meeting in Crown Heights last night, tens of Bochurim headed off to lead micro Shabbatons this week for Yaldei Hashluchim in 110 Shabbos Tzuzamen locations across the globe. This year, MyShliach invites you to join the global Shabbaton by following along on social media.
Shabbos Tzuzamen, facilitated by the MyShliach team at Merkos 302, promises to be an uplifting experience for all involved. “This Shabbos is the pinnacle of the MyShliach community experience for young Shluchim,” said Rabbi Mendy Shanowitz, director of MyShliach at Merkos 302, “we’re thrilled to see how these volunteers from Yeshivos worldwide are dedicating their time and energy to make this initiative a success.”
While some individual Shabbatons are taking place as far as Sydney, Australia and Pierrefitte-sur-Seine, France, Menachem Spritzer & Mendy Rochester, students in Oholei Torah, are on their way to Ellenville, New York, for one of the closest Shabbatons. “I’m grateful to have grown up on Shlichus and the opportunity to bring some young Shluchim together is something I wouldn’t miss!” says Spritzer. “It’s an honor to give back to the Shluchim who put all their own efforts into helping others; it’s going to be incredible!’” adds Rochester.
Last night’s staff meeting in Crown Heights, led by Rabbi Yossi Elberg, MyShliach Program Director, included words of inspiration, emphasizing the critical importance of their Shlichus. Shabbos Tzuzamen coordinator Dudi Ashkenazi gave a rundown of the programming and activities specifically designed for the weekend as well as guidance on how to lead an engaging Shabbaton. Each group of counselors received custom merch, prizes, and kosher treats, a rarity on Shlichus, to bring along for the young Shluchim.
As the countdown to Shabbos Tzuzamen Boys Shabbaton continues, MyShliach invites you to join in celebrating the dedication of young Shluchim worldwide. Through WhatsApp status updates, the Shabbos Tzuzamen Bochurim will share the moments that make this weekend truly special. Get ready to follow their journey and be inspired by the spirit of Shabbos Tzuzamen!
