Swabbed At Chabad of The Valley, He Is Now A Kidney Donor

This Renewal kidney donor is a father of six and grandfather of five from Los Angeles, CA, he is also the beloved 11th grade Rebbe in YULA.

Eleven months ago he swabbed at a Renewal Awareness Event at the Chabad of the Valley and was found to be the best match for a father and grandfather from Chicago. He flew to Chicago to be evaluated and was found to be a great candidate.

With the full support of his family he donated his kidney to someone he has never met before that day!

Rabbi Rosenbluth met his recipient this morning right before surgery. Below he shares with Dr. Enrico Benedetti, Chief of Transplant in University of Illinois, about a project his 11th Grade Students at YULA undertook as a zchus/merit for the full and speedy recovery of his kidney recipient.
