Camp Gan Israel Staff Hiring Platform Goes Live

The CKids Camp Directory, a comprehensive resource connecting potential staff with Gan Israel Day camps globally, officially launched today. This pioneering platform offers a detailed overview of each camp, including camp duration, age requirements, and specifics about accommodation and transportation.

Featuring over 135 Gan Israel camps worldwide, prospective staff members seeking to assist Shluchim in leading their day camps this summer now have a centralized source of information. In an effort to ensure accessibility, hard copies of the directory have been distributed to all girls’ high schools.

The platform aims to consolidate all camp-related information, simplifying the process for both Shluchim and potential staff. Shluchim can effectively share their summer program details, while potential staff can easily access this information, ensuring equal opportunity and clarity.

“At CKids, we strive to address challenges faced by the Shluchim on the ground,” says Rabbi Zalmy Loewenthal, Director of CKids at Merkos 302, “our hope with this platform, as with all our programs, is to allow them to direct their energy more efficiently in their Shlichus.”

Highlighting the critical role of summer camps in Jewish education, Rabbi Mendy Kotlarsky, Executive Director of Merkos 302, commented, “The camp experience is instrumental in connecting Jewish children with their heritage in an engaging way. The staff are a vital element of this, and we hope this collaborative initiative ensures that campers, staff, and directors can enjoy the ultimate experience.”
