Ukraine Welcomes First New Rabbi Since War Began
As war in Ukraine is well into its second year, a ray of hope shines for the Jewish community of that embattled country. Rabbi Mendy and Mushky Halperin—and their son, Ari—recently joined the team at Chabad of Chernovtzy, Ukraine.
The Halperins will assist with the Chabad center’s events and programs, which serve the city’s Jewish community with redoubled strength during this difficult time.
