50th Annual Chanukah Carnival by Beis Rivkah Montreal
On Sunday, the 3rd day of Chanukah, Beis Rivkah Montreal held its annual Chanukah Carnival, for hundreds of children and parents from the City of Montreal and its suburbs.
This year’s Carnival was dedicated for the safety and wellbeing of all the Yidden of Eretz Yisroel, wherever they may be.
The children greatly enjoyed the many booths, giant inflatables, and an original Chanukah puppet show. This was followed by an exciting Magic-Trick show, which included live birds.
The children recited the Twelve Pesukim and received cotton-candy, dreidels, Chanukah gelt and a coin for Tzedoko. Many prizes were awarded throughout the day.
Rabbi Yosef Minkowitz, Dean of Beis Rivkah, said “This is Boruch Hashem the 50th Grand Chanukah Carnival organized by the school. It is one of the longest ongoing annual Lubavitch events in the world. Special thanks to all the High School girls who ran the Carnival. It’s amazing to see what High School students can accomplish when given the opportunity”.
