Leibel Hecht Releases Uplifting Chanukah Single “Burn Bright” and Announces Unique Musical Experience

In time for Chanukah and responding to the recent events in Eretz Yisrael, singer and Chazzan Leibel Hecht releases a touching Chanukah single, “Burn Bright – A Letter to My Chanukah Candles.” Originally written in Yiddish and now in English, available on Spotify and YouTube, the song captures the strength and resilience of the Jewish people, reflected through the Chanukah candles.

Alongside “Burn Bright,” Hecht introduces a special show for Chabad House audiences, “Journey Through Jewish Music with Leibel Hecht.” This show blends musical storytelling with classic Jewish melodies and deep Chabad Niggunim. It promises an uplifting, enjoyable, and insightful experience, aimed at strengthening Jewish communities and providing inspiration.

“Journey Through Jewish Music” is more than just a concert. It’s a journey into the Jewish soul, combining music with tradition. The evening starts with popular Jewish songs, building a night rich in cultural heritage. Hecht weaves these melodies with Chassidic stories, bringing each song to life.

A highlight of the event is the deep and beautiful Chabad Niggunim. Recently, the emotional singing of the Poltave Niggun moved many in the audience to tears. Songs like “A Yidishe Mame” or the melody and story behind “Ani Maamin” deeply touch the soul.

Described as a mix of “Dudu Fisher and a Seder Niggunim in a Chabad Yeshiva,” the event aims to connect, inspire, and uplift everyone who attends. Each performance is more than entertainment; it’s a chance to strengthen our connection to Torah and Mitzvos, and to each other.
