NCFJE Gala Awards Dinner To Honor Yankie and Chani Markowitz with the Crown Chesed Award

NCFJE Gala Awards Dinner honoring Yankie and Chani Markowitz with the Crown Chesed Award. Special musical ceremony and prayer for the IDF and our brothers and sisters in the Holy Land.

The National Committee for the Furtherance of Jewish Education (NCFJE) invites you to our Annual Gala Dinner at the Edison Ballroom in Times Square this Sunday, November 19, 2023, at 5:30 P.M. This prestigious event is a celebration of our organization’s tireless work. Many dignitaries, including NYC Mayor Eric Adams, will attend, amongst other city and state officials.

NCFJE, founded in 1940 by the previous Lubavitcher Rebbe, has been at the forefront of making a profound difference in the lives of New Yorkers and communities. Organizations under the NCFJE umbrella include educational programs, crisis intervention, food distribution, and over 30 programs. NCFJE’s mission is to provide a helping hand to those in need, regardless of their background, and to create a more compassionate and inclusive society.

This year’s Annual Gala will highlight 70 Years of Toys for Hospitalized Children and celebrate over a million toys distributed. Additionally, Toys for Simcha, the Israeli branch of Toys for Hospitalized Children, has been supporting victims of terror and, in addition to toys, has been distributing clothing and essential items.

RSVP required. Please reach out to Dinner coordinator Simmy.
