Kinus Hashluchim 5784: Shluchim Conference Workshops In Video

The first day of the largest Rabbinical conference in the world saw the Rabbis convene for seminars addressing timely and sensitive subjects facing the Jewish people around the globe.

Topics, including handling antisemitism, mental health, and the situation in Israel, were led by experts in the respective fields. Shluchim participated in demographic-focused symposiums and think tanks that covered the gamut of Jewish life, from how to engage young families to empowering teens and young professionals to take leadership roles in Jewish life as well as caring for the elderly. The workshops are a space for networking and creativity, with implications that reverberate across the globe.

“In the face of current adversities, many Jews have discovered a newfound feeling of connection to their faith and identity,” says Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky, Chairman of the International Conference of Shluchim, “The shluchim have been tirelessly at the forefront, fortifying the spirit and resilience of their communities. This year’s Kinus comes at a critical moment in the history of our people, and we hope it serves as a source of energy, connection, and vision for the future.”
