The Kinus Hashluchim is honored to announce Rabbi Yehuda Stern, leader of the Sydenham Shul in Johannesburg, as the Keynote Speaker for the upcoming Gala Banquet.

Throughout his 16 impactful years in Johannesburg, Rabbi Stern has stepped up as a voice for Jewish pride and Torah values. His role as Rabbi and Director of Sydenham Shul places him at the heart of Jewish life, primed to address the Kinus theme on a global stage.

Rabbi Stern is set to deliver a transformative message on the timely theme of this year’s Kinus: true inspiration begins individually and radiates outward and how that applies to the current state of Jewish life around the world, especially in the Holy Land.

“In the face of current adversities, many Jews have discovered a newfound feeling of connection to their faith and identity,” says Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky, Chairman of The International Conference of Shluchim and Vice Chairman of Merkos L’inyonei Chinuch, “The Shluchim have been tirelessly at the forefront, fortifying the spirit and resilience of their communities. This year’s Kinus comes at a critical moment in the history of our people and we hope it serves as a source of energy, connection, and vision for the future.”

The global conference, culminating in the Gala Banquet on November 12th, with a parallel program in Israel, is set to reinforce the unprecedented sense of unity and connection that Jewish people are experiencing around the globe.
