Hundreds Participated in “Yuma D’Rabbanan” In Kfar Chabad

The annual halachic congress “Yuma D’Rabbanan” of Lmaan Yilmedu took place with hundreds of participants and dignitaries flocking to the halls of “Bais Rivkah” in Kfar Chabad.

The line up of esteemed halachic scholars included Rabbi David Lau the Chief Rabbi of Israel, Rabbi Yitzhak Landa, Chief Rabbi of Bnei Brak, Rabbi Eli Yohanan Gurari, Chief Rabbi of Holon, Rabbi Pinchas Althuiz and other important rabbis.

“We have been preparing for this event for many months,” says Rabbi Israel Maal, head of Lmaan Yilmedu. “When the war broke out, we wondered what adjustments should be made and if the event should be postponed at all. But since the essence of the event is Torah, and as we know that “Torah protects and saves” – it was decided in the end that it was appropriate to hold the event at its time precisely because of the situation! Of course, the event took place accordingly to the instructions of the Home Front Command, including available protected spaces and clear instructions in the case of alerts.”
