In a one-on-one 1980 conversation with an Israeli journalist, the Rebbe discusses how the Arab street is beginning to change in ways for which Israel is not prepared. The next generation of Arab youth cannot be bought off.

Meanwhile, unlike the first generation of settlers in modern Israel, today’s Jewish youth are not attracted anymore by the allure of being “pioneers.” They are tired of fighting and want to be left in peace.
