Ex-IDF Lone Soldiers Embark On Project To Write A “Collective” Sefer Torah
We are a group of ex-IDF lone Soldiers who live in Jerusalem and were embarking on a significant project to write a Sefer Torah in memory of those who have recently lost their lives in horrifying brutal acts of terrorism, for the missing and injured, for the safety of our soldiers and the entire population of Israel.
The teachings of the Lubavitcher Rebbe have inspired this initiative, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, of blessed memory. He encouraged all Jews in times of war to unite by purchasing a letter in a “collective” Torah scroll, symbolizing our intrinsic unity as one nation, one Torah, and one G‑d.
You’re invited to join this endeavor by donating as little as 1 Shekel to participate in this project. The Torah-writing has commenced in Jerusalem and will serve as a beacon of light during these dark times.
In times of turmoil and crisis, the Rebbe emphasized the importance of spreading light to counter darkness.
With unity, we will win this war.
The Torah will be used by shuls dedicated to the IDF soldiers
