by CrownHeights.info

Rabbi Menachem and Zahava Angster were on a visit to Corvallis, Oregon when they realized the thirst for Jewish connection for Jewish residents of Corvallis, Oregon and the students Oregon State University. So they decided to open a new Chabad Center.

“We are overjoyed to be opening the first ever Chabad center for Corvallis and Oregon State University,” the Angster’s wrote on their first fundraising campaign. “Corvallis, a vibrant small city, is ranked as one of the safest, greenest and best college towns in the US. The city is known for its livibility and gorgeous nature.”

The Jewish need there is bursting as Jews, young and old, flock to the area to live and learn.

“After visiting for over a year, we see a city and campus that is full of opportunity,” the Angsters wrote. “We are excited to offer a wide range of learning opportunities that will infuse the Jews of Corvallis with pride and enthusiasm in their Judaism.”

Please partner with the Angster’s to help make Jewish Corvallis a reality.
