Online Course Unpacks Kabbalistic Teachings of Rabbi Levi Yitzchak Schneerson

Chabad.org is thrilled to announce an exciting new opportunity for all those seeking to delve deeper into the profound wisdom of Kabbalah. Starting this August, Chabad.org’s ChabadU in collaboration with Chabad Princeton will be offering a groundbreaking four-part online course dedicated to exploring the extraordinary teachings of Rabbi Levi Yitzchak Schneerson, the revered father of the Rebbe, of righteous memory.

Rabbi Levi Yitzchak Schneerson was a brilliant scholar and Kabbalist whose teachings were virtually unknown to the English-speaking world until recently. Living under the oppressive regime of the Soviet Union, he fearlessly dedicated himself to teaching Torah and preserving Jewish tradition.

Rabbi Levi Yitzchak is believed to have produced numerous Torah writings, many of which were lost or destroyed. Yet, amidst the darkness, a portion of his kabbalistic writings managed to survive, thanks to the courageous efforts of his wife, Rebbetzin Chana Shneerson, who smuggled them out of the Soviet Union.

They were eventually published in a multi-volume Hebrew set titled Likkutei Levi Yitzchak. Focusing on advanced kabbalah and assuming the reader has a vast knowledge of all areas of Jewish scholarship, the books are a challenge even for seasoned scholars.

Over the years, the English-speaking world has been fortunate to gain glimpses of Rabbi Levi Yitzchak’s profound insights through a series of articles and essays on Chabad.org. Additionally, Kehot Publication Society published a groundbreaking book titled “An Inner Perspective,” which further illuminated his teachings.

Now, we are thrilled to take this a step further by offering an online course on his esoteric knowledge.

From the Heart of a Sage: The Influential Teachings of the Rebbe’s Father is divided into four captivating lessons, each exploring a different aspect of his profound work.

The course is given by Rabbi Dovid Dubov, director of Chabad of Princeton and Greater Mercer County, New Jersey. Rabbi Dubov is the author of a Hebrew-language series devoted to organizing and clarifying Rabbi Levi Yitzchak’s teachings and is considered one of the foremost experts in the field.
