The 8th Annual Kinus Mechanchos Chabad is under four weeks away, and over 400 Mechanchos from around the world have already registered. Taking place on 20-21 Av 5783 / August 7-8, 2023 in Stamford, CT, the Kinus Mechanchos Chabad gathers Chabad women educators for two days of networking, workshops, and inspiration that honors and uplifts them in their Shlichus in Chinuch. There are only 39 hotel rooms left, and registration closes 7 Av / July 25! Register at chinuchconvention.org while spots are still available.
In the spirit of Hakhel, the Menachem Education Foundation, together with the committee of the Kinus Mechanchos Chabad are planning the largest-ever Kinus Mechanchos that will include new program features, expanded workshop options, and an upgraded venue. Over 400 Mechanchos of every age, grade level and subject have already signed up from around the world, including the United States, Australia, Brazil, Canada and Israel.
To accommodate the growth of the program, the Kinus Mechanchos Shnas Hakhel addition will include new features, upgrades and team members:
Upgraded Location: The 8th Annual Kinus Mechanchos Chabad will take place at the Hilton Stamford Hotel and Executive Meeting Center in Stamford, CT. Mechanchos will have a chance to network and participate in educational workshops, while enjoying comfortable accommodations and ample space, just a short distance from Crown Heights, Upstate New York and the airport.
Expanded Team: Additional team members are working to pull off the expanded Kinus Mechanchos program. Mushkie Lipsker, M.S.Ed, of the Evergrowing Educator platform, and Sara Varon, MEF’s Productions and Events Manager are planning the schedule and details of the two day event, together with Alyson Feldman of FFH Events, and coordinator of the Kinus Mechanchos.
New Workshops Track: In addition to the six specialized workshop tracks for Mechanchos of every grade level and subject, including early childhood, general studies and school leaders, there will be a bonus track of sessions that will cater to niche roles and topics in Chinuch. This seventh workshop track will run at the same time as the rest of the workshops, and will allow Mechanchos to gather for small Hakhel sessions to learn important and specific tools that will enhance their work in Chinuch.
Each presentation and track will feature speakers, panels and discussions on pertinent Chinuch topics, led by renowned educators, experts, Rabbanim and Mashpios. Mechanchos will learn tools and strategies needed to give a wholesome and lasting Chinuch to today’s students.
Registrants continually share how eager they are for the workshops and additions at this year’s convention.
“I’ve come to the Kinus Mechanchos for the last two years and they have uplifted me in a way like nothing ever before. The Kinus really carried me through the year,” shares Chanie Nemes, a teacher at Slater Torah Academy in Metairie, LA.
A first-time Kinus Mechanchos registrant shares why she is excited for the program.
“As a teacher who is used to giving unconditional love to my high school students, I am hoping to learn how to infuse more into my girls, in terms of the love of Hashem, the Rebbe, Yiddishkiet, and Chassidishkiet,” says Chanie Vogel, a teacher at Bais Rivkah High School.
Registration closes on 7 Av / July 25. To view the program guide and to register, visit chinuchconvention.org
