Shluchim of The Caribbean Pose For Group Photo
Chabad Shluchim to the Caribbean pose for a group photo at the annual Kinus, joined by Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky, Chairman of the International Kinus Hashluchim and driving force behind Chabad in the Caribbean and Rabbi Mendel Zarchi, Director of Chabad Puerto Rico and founder of the first Chabad House in the region.
Shluchim and their families from 17 Caribbean Islands, including Aruba, Jamaica, and the Cayman Islands, are gathering at Chabad of Southwest Broward County, Florida, for camaraderie, knowledge-sharing, and spiritual rejuvenation.
As the pillars of Jewish infrastructure throughout the Caribbean, these Shluchim and Shluchos face similar challenges and opportunities in their Shlichus. The annual conference allows them to address these unique challenges with joint problem-solving and idea-sharing, pooling resources to help Jewish life flourish in the region.
This year for the first time, there was a parallel Kinus for the Yaldei Hashluchim, allowing them the rare opportunity to connect with their fellow Island Shluchim.
