BROOKLYN, NY [CHI] — A new film just sent by JEM to its JEMclub members features exclusive footage of the pivotal events surrounding the Rebbe’s heart attack at Hakofos 30 years ago.

Tishrei with the Rebbe Volume Two, which features a brand new documentary narration in Hebrew and English, shows the events of the morning before the Rebbe’s heart attack, as he enters 770. Two Israeli photographers captured the scene on film: Levi Yitzchak Freidin and Yitzchok Baron.

Three nights later, on Motzaei Simchas Torah, the film shows Chassidim who were alarmed and concerned break into singing as they learn that the Rebbe will soon be addressing them. The film then brings highlights of the Rebbe’s first moving address to Chassidim after the heart attack. The scenes join the Chassidim as they listen to the Rebbe’s words in 770 as they are spoken from his room.

The film includes many other fascinating scenes from the best photographers and newscameras at 770 through the years, from the middle of Tishrei until the Orchim go home at the end of Tishrei. It includes scenes filmed in the Rebbe’s room, Hoshaynos, Lekach, and many other incredible scenes, edited together by JEM into a colorful and inspirational film.
