Riverdale Community Unites For Lag B’Omer

Hundreds of Jewish children and adults united to enjoy a beautiful Lag B’Omer celebration in Riverdale, organized by Rabbi Levi and Sorah Shemtov, the Rebbe’s Shluchim to Riverdale and The Bronx.

The main street was closed off so the children could enjoy all the wonderful attractions, Pony Rides, Moonbounce, Giant slide, Hamsterball, Rockwall Climbing and a Live Hypnosis Show.

The children recited the 12 Pesukim and enjoyed when Rabbi Levi Shemtov told them about the great Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochay.

This year, for the first time, there was a large 15 foot bonfire that brought warmth to the Riverdale Community.
