Triple Karkafta on Wall Street Mitzvah Tank

by M Golomb

Watch this video as a father and two sons from Portugal, intercepted by a group of bochurim doing Mivtzoim, have a bar mitzvah on the streets of Manhattan nearby to the iconic Wall Street.

The triple Karkafta was done by the bochurim that do mivtzoyim on the red Mitzvah Tank from The Mitzvah Tank Office which was dedicated in memory of Menachem Brochshtat. The iconic red cube can be seen in the background of the photo.

The tank goes out weekly with more than a dozen bochurim overseeing more than six Mivtzoyim stands all around – and on – Wall Street in Manhattan. The stands are visited by dozens of Jews each week with bochurim putting tefillin on passersby, distributing flyers on the parsha, giving out shabbos candles, selling Ois Bsefer Torah and inviting Jews on to the tank to make a brocho and share a dvar torah.

The red tank is managed by Shloimy Shtern and Moishe Golomb, driven by Rabbi Moishy Serebryantsky and is part of a fleet of tanks run by The Mitzvah Tank Organization under the auspices of Lubavitch Youth Organization.
