A new website launched showing unclaimed funds in every state has some awesome news for “Chabad”, there are 463 unclaimed listings for Chabad institutions nationally. You never know, some of this money might be yours.
The new website was touted by “Kosher Money’s” Eli Langer, who posted om his Twitter account that he had “Found a new verified site that’ll show you unclaimed funds in EVERY state.” The website also shows the business that owes the money as well as the range of money owed.
So CrownHeights.info, tipped off to the news, typed in “Chabad” in the search bar, and what was found was astounding.
From Brooklyn to California, Florida to Michigan, Chabad centers across the nation have 463 unclaimed listings. While many are small denominations, many of them are simply “undisclosed”, meaning that some Shluchim may be seeing a payday in the near future.
Typing “Lubavitch” into the search box also returned some interesting listings, with 159 unclaimed listings including at least one for Congregation Lubavitch at 770 Eastern Parkway and Yeshiva Gedola Lubavitch in Forest Hills, Queens.
