Jewish Superstar Benny Friedman to Headline Largest JewQ Championship Yet
As the JewQ Championship approaches, Jewish children from around the world are gearing up for the highly anticipated finale event, where they will compete to showcase their mastery of Jewish knowledge. The international competition brings together hundreds of students to showcase their mastery of Jewish knowledge.
This year’s grand finale promises to be even more exciting, with a completely revamped interactive program. The event will kick off with a high-spirited concert led by Chassidic superstar Benny Friedman, who has made a name for himself in the Jewish music industry with his dazzling voice and inspiring lyrics. Benny’s dedication to using his music to inspire young Jews makes him the perfect choice to perform for these young Torah scholars.
“It is an honor for me to be a part of an event that celebrates the dedication and hard work of these students. I hope my music can inspire them to continue their journey of learning and growth,” said Friedman.
JewQ is an innovative program from CKids that runs in Hebrew schools around the world. Over the past year, the program has seen incredible growth, with more than 3,500 children from 235 schools participating, an astonishing 40% increase from last year. “The tremendous growth of JewQ over the last year is a true testament to Hebrew school being alive and well,” says Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky, vice chairman of Merkos L’inyonei Chinuch, “thanks to the tireless efforts of the Shluchim and the dynamic JewQ curriculum, children have developed an enthusiasm for Torah study that extends beyond the classroom, imbuing them with a sense of pride and connection to their heritage that’s contagious.”
The young scholars will converge in Connecticut for the grand finale from all over the world, including Australia, France, Argentina, Ecuador, Colombia, the UK, Portugal, and India. The top performers from each school have been chosen to represent their peers at the JewQ International Championship in Connecticut.
The JewQ Championship event will feature a mix of games and intense crossfire questions, where students will compete to display their knowledge on the big stage. The competition will culminate with a celebratory award ceremony, where winners will be announced and applauded for their achievements.
Many local JewQ students will be in attendance, traveling with their entire schools to cheer on their classmates and get an exciting review of the material they’ve learned throughout the year. In addition to friends and family, many locals purchase tickets to witness a spectacular display of Jewish knowledge.

The JewQ International Championship is set to take place on March 26th at the closing of the CKids Shabbaton in Stamford, Connecticut. With 1,000 participants and spectators expected to attend, it promises to be a truly inspiring event.
