Story behind these words:

Before ascending the throne, Dovid Hamalech was hunted down by Shaul. He desperately sought refuge in Tehilah, a town situated in the area of Judah, yet his kin was so determined to raise themselves in the eyes of the rich and powerful that they exposed him to Shaul’s forces. Caught in an inevitable trap, Dovid felt no mercy over his abandonment and felt betrayed, he seemed to blame Shmuel Hanavai for not intervening to protect him although he was the one who had previously anointed Dovid as the promised king.

Dovid implored Hashem, by saying

“Despite the agony and affliction I felt, my faith in you is unwavering and despite that in distress I accused the prophet Shmuel of hypocrisy. My trust in you remained steadfast and unwavering
