Of the two bochurim who had remained hospitalized this week following the horrific crash Monday night, one has finally been discharged to return home.

Despite his numerous injuries still requiring time to heal, Bochur יוסף יצחק הלוי בן מרים דבורה left the hospital Thursday evening, discharged with many thanks Hashem. His family requests that he still be mentioned for Tehillim, as his road to complete recovery will be a journey.

שניאור זלמן הכהן בן אלישבע, the bochur who sustained the worst injuries in the crash, remains in critical condition in the hospital and is in need of our Tefillos. While there have been significant signs of improvement, reports indicate that he remains unconscious to facilitate the healing process.

Both bochurim were traveling back from the Rebbe Monday evening when the van they were traveling in with ten other bochurim lost control and veered off the road. The van overturned and came to rest in a ditch alongside a New Jersey highway.

A mass casualty incident was called and six bochurim transported to the hospital, one by helicopter in critical condition.

The families of the injured bochurim are asking for the community to continue saying tehillim for יוסף יצחק הלוי בן מרים דבורה and שניאור זלמן הכהן בן אלישבע.
