BDE: Rabbi Michoel Namdar, 67, OBM

With great sadness we report the passing of Rabbi Michoel Namdar OBM, a member of Anash in Milan, Italy and later of Crown Heights. He passed away on Wednesday, the 17th of Shvat, 5783.

He was 67 years old.

A Chasid to his core, Michoel was instrumental in the efforts to rescue the Iranian Jewish community, working in the Rebbe’s Peulos and supporting Chabad institutions.

He was also a member of the Chevra Kaddisha in both Milan and Crown Heights.

He is survived by his wife Perel, and their children Menachem Namdar (Crown Heights), Levy Namdar (Crown Heights), Mrs. Chanie Mockin (Montreal, Canada), Mrs. Toba Leah Golomb (Crown Heights), Devora Rivkah Namdar, and Daniel Namdar.

Shiva will take place in Crown Heights at 1408 Union St.
