Curriculum & Resource Site – Chof Beis Shevat 35 Years

In under a week, we will be marking 35 years from the Rebbetzin’s Yahrtzeit-Hilula.

In the period following the Rebbetzin’s Histalkus, it became clear from the Rebbe’s words to us how central a place the Rebbetzin held in the Rebbe’s Nesius. Over the years following the Rebbetzin’s Histalkus, the Rebbe marked this day together with the Chassidim and continuously encouraged us to learn from the Rebbetzin.

With this in mind, Vaad Or Vechom Hahiskashrus is pleased to share several useful resources to assist you and your family in preparing for and marking this special day.

Resource Site:

The Chof Beis Shevat resource site includes: Learning material, featured videos, articles in English and Hebrew, videos of Chassidim Farbrenging, and much more!

Check it out at OrVechom.com/22Shevat

School Curriculum:

“Take to Heart” is an easy-to-use and adaptable school curriculum that gives teachers the tools to mark this day and learn from the Rebbetzin together with their students. The curriculum includes a PowerPoint presentation, videos, engaging activities, and a Teacher’s Guide to explain it all. It is designed for each teacher to customize it for their classroom by choosing which points and stories they want to give over to their students.

This curriculum consists of 3 lessons: The relevance of Chof Beis Shevat to every Chossid, Sixteen stories of the Rebbetzin that teach us valuable lessons, and Practical suggestions for Hachlotos in honor of Chof Beis Shevat.
