Jewish life is full of meaning and joy, but it comes along with great responsibility as well. It’s all too easy to fall short of our God-given potential, and that’s when those feelings of guilt start creeping in. But as it turns out, Jewish Guilt isn’t very Jewish after all.

In the Tanya, the foundational work of Chabad Chassidism, great emphasis is placed on the insidiousness of shame and self-condemnation. Of course, itโ€™s important to, on occasion, reflect on our shortcomings โ€“ but only for the sake of moving forward!
