ShabbosTzuzamen Kicks Off Around The World

Over the past 24 hours, nearly 2,000 young Shluchim and their staff have been canvassing the globe to the 120 locations worldwide for “ShabbosTzuzamen,” the once-a-year Shabbaton organized by MyShliach at Merkos 302, when young Shluchim and Shluchos gather together for a Shabbos of fun, connection, and inspiration.

“Such a nice feeling seeing everyone get ready for ShabbosTzuzamen, Bochurim and Girls traveling across the globe, Shluchim driving long distances, and packing up their kids for this special Hakhel,” said Mrs. Altie Wolvovsky, Shluchah in Sonoma County, California, who is hosting a ShabbosTzuzamen for 24 young Shluchim in the region, “This Shabbos should be uplifting for everyone on every level, for the children, staff, Shluchim, and our community.

The long-awaited weekend kicked off today in 15 countries and six continents with the Yaldei Hashluchim getting to meet their new friends and staff, going on Mivtzoim, playing custom Shabbos Tzuzamen games, and preparing for the Shabbos of their lives.

Driving through the Engish countryside on their way to  Leeds, England, for their Shabbos Tzuzamen. one group of Yaldei Hashluchim from Manchester started chatting with their Cab driver named Collin. After discovering that Collin was Jewish and had never laid Tefillin in his life, they offered him the opportunity to have his Bar Mitzvah. Upon arriving in Leeds, they immediately jumped out of the car and proceeded to help Collin put on Tefillin for the first time and joyously broke into spontaneous dance and song.
