Theme and General Information Released For Kinus Hashluchos 5783

The Kinus Hashluchos 5783 is rapidly approaching, and the Vaad of the Kinus has announced this years theme, the timely message of “Shnas Hakhkel”.

“This is the simplest encapsulation of our responsibility – To gather every person in our sphere of influence, and to teach, lead, and inspire them to greater closeness with Torah and Mitzvos,” the Vaad wrote in an email to the Shluchos. “During this unique Kinus of Shnas Hakhkel, we will focus on this timely mandate. We will discuss and explore new ways and old of bringing people in our communities together in the spirit of Hakhel, one of education, unity, inspiration, and action.”

As pat of this year’s theme of Hakhel, an extra effort is being made to allow every Shlucha from across the world to join.

The Kinus will be taking place on the weekend of Chof Beis Shvat, the 17th to the 22nd of Shevat, 5783 – February 8th to the 13th, 2023.

Learning from responses of previous years, the Vaad has also announced that the majority of workshops and events, including the general session, will take place in various locations around Crown Heights.

Also, after a two-year hiatus, the Kinus Hashluchos Guest Program is returning. The program offers an immersive Crown Heights weekend filled with inspiring lectures by world-renowned educators, meaningful conversations, new, supportive relationships, delicious Kosher meals, and the opportunity to be enveloped by a love of Yiddishkeit.
