S. Maur, France Gets A New Mikvah
In S. Maure, France, a new Mikvah was inaugurated yesterday with great pomp and splendor by the local Shliach, Rabbi Hershey Druckman.
A large crowd including representatives of the community and the local municipality participated in the Mikvah dedication ceremony, with head Shliach Rabbi Mendel Azimov in attendance.
The rabbi of the regional non-Chassidic Orthodox community spoke and blessed the Chabad activity there, and two Jewish deputy mayors were invited to cut the ribbon on behalf of the municipality.
Rabbi Druckman thanked the many donors for making the construction of the mikvah a reality, naming the Marumim Foundation by the Center of Rabbis of Europe, as well as giving a special thanks to Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky for his work in supporting the Shluchim.
